Our Glenn Hard Red Spring Wheat has a protein of 10.3% and Falling Number of 342 Sec. This makes the wheat great for an all-purpose flour suitable for baking everything from pizza doughs and crusty breads to pie crusts, cakes, cookies and pancakes.
This wheat was grown on one of our first year transition to Organic fields which means it received no chemical pesticides or non-organic fertilizers.
Currently we only have whole grain wheat berries available but soon will be offering milled products, so stay tuned.
Whole wheat berries can be stored in a dry cool place. Once the wheat is milled, store extra in the freezer to keep fresh.
